Action against society committee

(Querist) 12 May 2012 This query is : Resolved
Dear Sir/ madam, We have problem with our Society committee members. They don'nt do there job properly. Whenever we need any help e;g need any letter or noc etc, we always have to beg for that but they keep telling us to come again and again for no reason. We wrote complaint letter to them but they avoided and now things have gone more worst. Can you please advice us how to take strong action against them even advice us how to remove them from there position. Do we support from others or we also do it alone. pls advice, thank you.

you can with consent of other members requisition a extrordinary general body meeting to consider these complaints . lay down a detailed time table wherein request for NOC have to be given within 7 days etc .

Since society is a state subject, there is some variation in law of a state with another one. Generally functioning of executive committee law is same and general body is supreme which may pass a no-confindence motion. However, as required by law (of the state) convening a Special GBM to remove executive shall be right approach.
