Mutation dda flat

I have purchased a free hold DDA flat through registered sale deed. Do I need to apply to DDA for mutation of property title in my favour. If yes what is the procedure.

Visit DDA desk of mutation along with a certified copy of sale deed,pick up the prescribed form of mutation from them to fill details,notarized affidavits of your's and your seller would be required confirming purchase and sale on a non judicial stamp paper of Rs.2/=00 NOC or redemption deed if flat was mortgaged for any loan and also NOC of Society,if flat is via any society and also One photograph & Three Specimen Signatures of mutatee duly attested by Class I Gazetted Officer(may be notary also)/Ist class Magistrate.
