Quashing of fir

one person lodged a fir under section 420/406 IPC against three brothers. In that case, police filed cancellation report in the court where a complainant gives statement that he is satisfied with the investigation and fir may be cancelled. After cancellation of the fir, the three brothers filed a defamation case against that complainant. Now the complainant in fir case has filed a complaint under section 420/406 read with 120-B/34 IPC on the same facts. Now what can be the grounds for quashing of the complaint?

If the facts rein the same then got for quashing . Second case on same cause of action has no merit and not maintainable.
