Hi to All Experts,
Can anybody suggest me regarding time frame for filing the Statutory Complaint in the Army, as far I am concerned that is 60 days from the date of punishment. But some how we delay in filing the complaint, for the same can we go through with the condolence appeal after expiry of the prescribed time frame. And if yes is this in the rules, then please give the reference.
With regards...

Thanks to all Experts for the reply.
I want to know, Suppose any soldier tried Summarily by his Commanding Officer under Army Act Sec 63 on 28 Feb 2013 and if the soldier wants to file Statutory Complaint, but unfortunately if he fails to file before 60 days from the commencement of his punishment, then what is policy in vogue or rules which he may have to adopt.
Thanking You,
With Regards..

He shall have to file an application seeking condonation of delay on valid reasons and if the application is accepted only then his accompanied appeal shall be duly entertained. The appeal should be otherwise filed within 60 days of such order.
