Dv case and medical certificate

Hi Experts
My wife leave matrimonial house 5 months backs while going she said that i want divorce and i cant live with you any more.
Immediately she left the house her father called and said in a very brutal manner that "taiyar ho jao Police ke dande kahne ke liye"
And than myself and my family realize that there is something fishy, beacz her father did n't even ask what happen
My self and my father immediately went to police station and told entire story, and than CI called to my wife and ask her to report to police station. she came next day evening with her father , mother and lawyer.
After listing to the story of both side CI said its a simple case of ego and understanding. Better you sought out outside the police station, i said i want that she should rejoin the family but she is not ready at all.
after 2 months she puts 498a and DV case
DV case is running, she made a false medical certificate at her home town in a "Nursing Home"
My question based on above story pls suggest:
1.Is that medical certificate from nursing home is a valid proof.
2.I reported to police station first is this a positive step or negative.
3 How to prove that medical certificate is false and how defend my self

1. If she had sustained any injury on the day mentioned in the medical certificate then definitely the same is a valid document.
2. You need not report to police but if you find that document wrong then definitely you require to report it to the police not only against your wife but also against the doctor issuing false certificate.
3. You know better facts than us. Engage a lawyer for this purpose. Everything cannot be opined online without going through your case.

1. It is valid but needs to be formally proved at the time of trial.
2.Neither positive nor negative. You are free to inform if any offence is committed.
3. You need not prove it false. The prosecution shall have to prove it is genuine.

Thanks for yours suggestions
But I really don't understand the logic that she made certificate in her home town after 5 days of leaving the matrimonial house.
How medical certifiacte is still valid ?
I am 100% sure that her lawyer guided her to do that to make her case strong.

YOU NEED A ADVOCATE TO DEFEND YOUR CASE.
However, it is not a Police Case, So don't worry.

There are two angles to medical certificate. One whether it is genuine one and second whether injury mentioned in it is caused by you. This will be decided in trial. So do not worry. Prepare your defence.
