Can we register case against college

Hi,

I joined a college for my MBA in 2010,I wrote my final Sem exam in the month of June 2012,but still we not received our result.We already filed an ITR against University but no reply and whenever we try to apporach our college they also not provied any info on our result.
we all are working on the base of MBA now our company is asking our degree and other certificate but we are not able to provied them.our college is also not helping us. Frm June 2012 to 2013 almost one year is over but we are still waiting for our result.

Kindly help us please.

yes you send legal notice to them, if not take steps than u file writ for direction

Normally, Degrees are conferred when convocation is held normally after one your of the exam. However, on your enquiry, silence of the college or the university is questionable.

you must be in touch with your friends in college who studied with you .raise the issue in press regarding lethargic attitude of the university / college regarding students future and failure to declare results for one year

Serve a legal notice followed by a writ against the college and university. There are many judgments which are favourable for you. A heavy penalty is required to be imposed on the university in such matters.

Thanks to all.

The situtation is University is saying some dues are pending from College side and college is dening Actualy there is a mediatter name is YGEN between College and University College is saying we already paid money to YGEN For university, but University is saying we not received any money from YGEN. that the reason they are not issueing our result but other colleges they already issued their result in Dec.2012.

In this situtation What We do?

Dear Jaideep,

If that is correct what you have stated about the dispute between the university and college about pending dues, university cannot play with the career of the students for no fault of students. The result should have been declared by the university and recovery should have been tried to be effected by legal means not by withholding results. At the most the university can deaffiliate the college for future courses.

You and other affected students must file a case to challenge the action of the university by making both the university and the college as the party to the case. You may also ask for compenation for delayed result.
