Hello sir
I am B.com LL.B and i have license of BAR Council of India and doing practice as tax consultant independently from last 6 months i want to know there is any further registration to do practice as Income Tax & Vat Consultant, or there is any need to inform Income Tax Department or sales Tax Department that i am doing work as Tax consultant I am very much Confused ? please suggest me what i do.

I think you do not require to inform anybody. But I think that you should have your self registered with Bar Council of the State Bar where you generally practice.

confirm with agrawalji. once you are registered with the bar council of the state, there is no further registration as such.

One who is registered as an advocate with bar council does not need any other registration and can practice and appear before any court or tribunal,judicial or quasi-judicial.

no further registration is required . you can start practising as a lawyer .

Thanks to all of you for your valuable suggestion , i have already registered with bar council before six yrs . so all of you solved my problem regarding any further registration , once again thanks to all of you.

You don't require further certificate for that purpose.
