Or may not be?!Not clear you confessed.Confession of Possession of illegal liquor may amount to offence involving moral turpitude for which query is not so well unveiled ?

Should I mention in attestation form about this incident or tell to the verification inspector?if I have to then what I have to do sir?
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 09 August 2013
You should not hide and should clearly mention the incident.
surajit misra (Querist) 10 August 2013
So sir should I prepare for the exam & no chance to reject me for this offensive reason?& sir at the time of police verification what I have to mention at the attestation form?
Guest (Expert) 10 August 2013
You should prepare for the exam. Unless FIR is registered and the case is launched in a court of law, there is no proof of criminality. But, you have not mentioned whether FIR against you was there or not and also whether the case was filed in the court of law or not.

For verification purposes, normally police do not visit the candidate unless they have any doubt about the veracity of his documents and statements. They normally go to the persons, whose references are shown in the attestation form, or the neighbours or the persons residing nearby the candidate for verification.

1.So sir if there is no FIR against me & the case is launched in a court of law there is no problem but if FIR & case both is launched against me then what to do?should I get the job or not?
2.And one more thing if it is so & I don't mention in attestation form about this incident then what should happen?
3.& sir according to you 'kharcha pani' should not be a remedy for police to let me give every answer in attestation form as 'NO'?
sir please tell me in detail I am in very bad situation about my future to get a govt. job.

facts given more elaborately at

http://www.lawyersclubindia.com/experts/Police-Verification-in-Government-Job-661206.asp

facts indicate that no case is registered as you paid bribe and were let off.

you can walk into the concerned thana and check records.
Sudhir Kumar, Advocate (Expert) 14 November 2017
however when you enter the govt job the beware that being found intoxicated in public place is professional misconduct for govt servant and department case take action even without FIR.
