I am working at Banaras Hindu University as a Deputy Librarian my present Pay is PB 4 – 44820 with Grade pay 9000, Totally I am getting nearly 1 lac . I have applied same post at NIT and I got selection. The deputy Librarian starting pay is PB3 15600-39100 + GP 8000 for first five years after that he can move PB4 37400+ 67000 + 9000 AGP. I have already served 8 years at Banaras Hindu University and I crossed the 5 years service in PB3. But NIT will not protect my pay and they are informed, you have applied for the same post but not in the same scale so we will provide PB3 15600- 39100 -8000 Gp with 3 increment, you have to serve 5 years in the scale. Once again I requested and they informed me that pay fixation is selection committee job so at this time we cannot do anything. Sir please clarify
Can I get pay protection, if I join?
Whether the pay protection is not possible after the selection committee?

you are not surplus employee whose pay will be protected even on lower scale.
You are going on lower scale on your own and pay will be fixed as done in case of reversion, i.e. entire part service (since last promotion) will be treated as in lower scale and notional increments will be given at lower rate till 2006 and then pay re-fixed in lowers scale.

So what is bad with BHU?south!No work and huge pay and free advice.STAY AWAY FROM NIT
AND STICK WITH BHU.BHU AS an UNIVERSITY IS KING OF KINGS.NO SUCH CAMPUS IN ASIA.THOUGH I AM ALLAHABAD PRDUCT.

Don’t tell no work and huge pay, please come and see the BHU library and I have reached this position after my 15 years service (and away from my native 3000km for bread and butter). This salary is for one month for me not in one case (what you r getting). I am asking your advice only, please don’t insult. I am respecting your age and experience
