Info on cross examination required

(Querist) 05 November 2013 This query is : Resolved
Ommission or Supression of facts in a counter affidavit (Civil Suit) may not be perjury.

My query is extraction of facts during deposition during Cross Examination is perjury or not ?

For example a Defendent / Respondent supresses certain material facts in his counter affidavit during cross examination he gives the facts. Definetly there will be a difference in what is said in the counter affidavit and the Deposition.
Is this perjury?

Thanks in advance
