Small office home office

(Querist) 17 February 2014 This query is : Resolved
Greetings!

I plan to start a Small Office Home Office (SOHO) by renting a residential premises in my society. My office does not have any public dealings & no billings/invoices shall be issued from this address. All commercial activities takes place from Pune which is a government approved commercial location. This will be purely a liaison office with max 5 staff members & only laptops and desktop computers shall be used for daily work.

Do I need any specific permission from local development authority or any such statutory permission to start a SOHO. This SOHO is likely to be located at Vaishali, Ghaziabad (UP).
