Need not worry the post man would have delivered to the authorized person of addressee only and it makes no difference and court would accept.

If the letter was delivered, it is supposed that it was delivered to authorized person.

Get a certificate of delivery to the addressee by applying to the post office.

agree with experts
It is criminal offence for Postal Officer to hand over any article of post to anyone other than addressee.
Has the addressee denied the receipt?

sudhir sir, i dont know about denial but the signatures on series of previous acknowledgements were that of addressee. but he has not been replying to those letters as he knows that he cannot contradict my contents. may be i feel out of this fear he is not putting his signatures on acknowledgements.

It is a valid receipt. The cpc ACKNOWLEDGES RECEIPT OF POSTAL ARTICLES BY SERVANT, AGENT, FAMILY MEMBERS OR EVEN FRIEND.
So nothing to worry about.

It can be deemed as a valid service of the letter/summons etc even if it was signed by a close relative of the recipient.
