what if employer is not paying salary on time

Dear experts
Am a teacher .working at private school.my school iwner is not paying is salary od about 3-4 months.full staff has grievence towards them.i am new joinee heee.if they pay....they give us cash.no eecords at all.
Plz suggest me.how can i make my salary affordable n also am needy of job

Is this school affiliated with some board e.g; with CBSE?

If this is private school, possibly they have not issued you the appointment letter. This is general process of harassing, better search alternate job.
Taking legal steps may result in loosing of job.

No sir,,they have not given any appointment ketter to us.they just make it oral.when i asjed...director said...its in faith n belief.till now no teacher has asked.
I dont want to spoul rekation with them but need salary to.all time they give silly excuses.when i ask for salary

You have to continue till you get alternate job. This is purely a temporary arrangement, most of small private schools are adopting.

What is the use of working with employer that does not pay wages.
When you leave it may not even agree to provide experience certificate.
You are spending from your pocket.
Find another job AS AP.
