Hi,
I have filed Divorce case, Request you to kindly let me know if my advocate is charging me properly.. I have no issue in notice fees and filing fees but can you please help me in fees related to counselling... I am charged 2500 for each court counselling which happens in court, I am also been told that I need to pay 5000/- per hearing.. till date I have paid 1000/- for Consultancy, 6500/- for notice, 15,000/- for case filing and 15,000/- as pro fees. Hearing has not yet started...
It would be of grate help if someone help me if I am been charged in a standard manner...
I will be giving an application for my child access, I have no idea if I will be charged for this also... kindly suggest

fees are very reasonable . advocate is charging you peanuts . only rs 15,000 for case filing . dont change your lawyer

Lawyers professional charges differs lawyer to lawyer. It can not be standardized due to so many factors involved.
If you have doubt of overcharging, you may consult some other lawyer.
However, the charges seem to be justified.
