(Querist) 04 August 2014 This query is : Resolved
Dear Experts

I am stucked in the middle of my problem. My wife has lodge false FIR against me last year of dowry and all. We all r o interim bail. I have put a case of harassment on her in ludhiana . she has now moved to hight court as she has lodged a transfer petition to get the case transfered from Ludhiana to ferozpur which is her town. Now on this date Judge has ordered for mediation after we both agreed to stay separately before judge. She is demanding hell lot of money which i cant afford. What to do in such case. Can mediator help? or he will also be on girls side?

It is at your discretion whether to agree or not to the demand of your wife during mediation process. So far as the question of hel by the mediator is concerned, he can simply help in making suggestions to arrive at some viable solution depending upon your income, but can't enforce his wishes upon anyone of you.

If not able to arrive mutually agreed terms no other alternate but to proceed with the case on merits.

No one can force to pay anything unless you agree to it. Let her demand anything.
