I was cheated by my lawyer where he made me sign that I'm paying a rent of more that 3500RS to my landlord in court. Though I have never paid that to landlord.
However the rent is 800 Rs which i have been deposting and is being accepted in the count till date.
Now my landlond is filing an eviction case.
1. Can I apply for review petion?
2. Do I need to file a case against my lawer also
3. Is there any other way I can approch and get back into the rent control act.

Why did he do so?
In which proceeding did he make you sign such thing.
In any case in the eviction proceeding you can apply to court for determination of fair rent.
Do not disclose the amount you may have deposited in the rent Control office.

It was in the bonafide case which my landlond had applied he needs the shop for his wife.
As my lawyer made me sign that I pay rent more that 3500 RS, the landlord immediately withdrew his case and filed a new case for eveiction.
Dont think we have fair rent can be an option as the shop was taken on Goodwill in 1980's
