Maternity leave

(Querist) 13 August 2015 This query is : Resolved 
A lady took maternity leave from the company but before the completion of the maternity leave period, she joined the service for 20 days. Now she wants to avail the balance maternity leave. Do we have to provide her that? Can section 18 of Maternity Benefit Act be used here?

Academic query does not deserve any reply. However, it is a real problem with the company, your company can very well afford to here servces of an expert for consultation.
