quashing of 498-A on mutual concent basis

Sir, me and wife are in separation from 4 years now we decided to divorce mutually. I came to know that 6 month is minimum court will take for Decree of divorce I want to quashed the 498-a before decree of divorce is it possible? If yes which type of procedure required for it? Pl

yes, it is possible, file a quashing petition before high court under section 482 of Cr.P.C. or under Article 226 of Indian Constitution along with an affidavit of your wife regarding the same and if there is any MOU was executed for MCD then annexed that MOU before the court along with the quashing petition.
