Respected Authority,
I am Ajay rane resident of Mumbai ,Maharashtra want to know about non payment of bill to Idea Cellular.Today I got a call from Delhi Court that case has been filed on my name for non payment of INR:800 I was taken 2 numbers on my name but one number has been lost and i informed cutomer care to deactivate the same but doesnt happen and un-necessary bill comes which i refuse to pay the same . So i just wanted to know what will happen in that case?? advocate also told me apart from 1300 Rs u have to pay additional and if u fail to come tomoorow in court then non bailable warrant will be issue against you. and i am very much tense now plz suggest me some thing on urgent basis.

Normally fake calls are made by some touts of the lawyers, who act as agents of the cellular companies for earning commission, as part of the outstanding bill. No company files case in the court for merely Rs.800/-. Further, when you have not received any summon after filing of any case, from where the question of issue of NBW arises? You may ask the case No. and see online in the list of cases due to be heard tomorrow in the court.

That is there gimmick to call you to their place with the fear of NBW and create more fear about your arrest. Since you have to pay the bills, you may directly pay at their customer care centre and to avoid any further liability of bills give them application under acknowledgment for disconnection of your lost mobile. Also file FIR with the police for your lost mobile.

Yes, the call is a fake one. No Court make such calls; they issue summons to those who are required to attend the Court.
