A FRIEND OF MINE GOT MARRIED IN FEB 2006. THE MARRIAGE LASTED ONLY THREE MONTHS AS SHE WAS PHYSICALLY ABUSED. SHE RETURNED TO HER HOME TOWN,LUCKNOW FROM SOLAN, HP WHERE SHE HAD GOT MARRIED IN JUNE 2006 . SHE HAS NO CONTACT WITH HER HUSBAND FOR LAST OVER 3 YEARS.

SHE HAS FILED A DIVORCE CASE AT A SOLAN COURT WITH A LUCKNOW LAWYER .

THE LAWYER TAKES NO INTEREST AND HAS GOT THE FILE OF THE CASE.

HOW IS SHE TO KNOW THE LEGAL POSITION OF THE CASE AND ACT AGAIN.

SHE PROPOSES TO CHANGE LAWYER.

ANY HELP GROUPS THAT CAN GUIDE HER

She is entitled to file a case even at Lucknow after withdrawing the case at Solan. if it is convenient you can think on those lines also.
