False dowry case section 498 a

(Querist) 09 January 2015 This query is : Resolved
My (saala)Brother-in-Law's WIFE has filed a False Dowry Case AND Murder attempt ONE year back- My Saala being Accused 1. Myself Accused No 2.

We have sought anticipatory BAIL One year back.

I have also obtained a squash order from the High Court(11 months back) instructing the SHO TO EITHER SQUASH THE FIR AGAINST ME OR FILE CHARGESHEET WITHIN 4 WEEKS.

The SHO (POLICE)has not paid any Heed to the HIGH COURT ORDER neither cancelled the FIR or Charge Sheeted .

Now My Saala and his Wife has Compromised Orally and are UNITED and Living Happily Together.

But My SALAA'S Wife is not withdrawing the case against me and wants me to forego my property share. My Salaa is also supporting his Wife Now INVOLVED IN THIS CONSPIRACY.

Now The Fir on me is unnecessarily on ME . No Charge Sheet is filed by SHO.

In such a situation please advice. What Shall I do ? What steps to take and how long this case will go on and without filing charge sheet how many years the SHO CAN KEEP THIS CASE PENDING.

If it is a case against her husband too and the same has not been withdrawn against him, you may wait for the reaction by him when the charge sheet is being filed by police. Or else you may file another petition for your self for quashing the fir against you alone due to the reasons discussed.
