Father need to enjoy his property only son

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 13 December 2011 This query is : Resolved
Dear Experts,
Father wants to enjoy his property only his son, because he is not ready to share the property to his daughters, and he also did the partition in favour of son in 2004/9/25. All property are registred to son name in above date.Mr.Son is sold off of the property to third person in 2005. This is a totally joint family property, in this family one son and four daughter.(They are married in 1979,1983,1989,1996)
The question arise here is,
Do have father take that type of decision?
How father registerd the property to son favour without consert daughter,
Also purchaser not concert the daughter how?
father is passed away in 2006, after his death daughter have property rights or not?
If they want to ask share in the property how is the procedure in karnataka
thank U

You have not told in the query whether the property in question was self acquired property of your father or ancestral.

If it was self acquired and was not ancestral then the act of your father is legal and justified and cannot be challenged by his daughters.

If the property was ancestral then the wheel can be rolled back. In that situation, daughters can file a civil suit for declaration seeking transfer and subsequent sale as null and void.
