Around 15 years ago my grandfather divided the property at Delhi, which was in his name, in three parts and transferred the same through gift deed to his three sons, one of them my father.
Now after 15 years, my father's younger brother is threatening him saying that he wants some share from my father's acquired property as well stating that the division done by grandfather was not fair. Please let me know how should we counter him and plan to file a case against him and on what basis.

given facts indicate that let your uncle crying. he appears to have no valid stake.

You got your share of property in your possession, enjoy it and let uncle say whatever he wants to say.
The property share in your possession should be documented and showing in official records as owned by your father, like the Muncipality records, electricity records etc. If the partition deed was registered, the copy of that must be available with Sub-registrar, get certified copy of the same for your records.

Has the gift deed been submitted to O/o Authority under whose jurisdiction property falls and mutations records updated?

Agreed that your father may not unnecessarily be perturbed by so called threats by his younger brother.

On acceptance of a gift by the donee (recipient) it is irrevocable, therefore, nothing to worry. Let your uncle cry and take action whatever, he feels, his claim shall not withhold any ground.

If your uncle has some extra money to feed lawyers then let him carry on.

A Lawyer worth his/her salt will convey 'point blank' to the said brother the merits (non existent).
There are many such Lawyers.

A Lawyer not worth his/her salt will make hollow/tall claims to the said brother on the merits (that are non existent). There is shortage of such Lawyers (LIAR's that fall for say; Pachaas Rupalli).
If IT happens you may approach A very able senior LOCAL Lawyer/Law Firm worth his/her salt and such Lawyer shall take care of the matter.

I will check for the same. My father might have a better idea about it. Thanks.
