A FOREIGN PARTY CANNOT BRING IN THE MONEY/PAYMENT AS A SECURITY DEPOSIT IN A JOINT VENTURE AGREEMENT WITH AN INDIAN COMPANY?

what do u mean by secury deposit? it should take a form of a loan. otherwise you are free to invest in securities ogf the joint venture. for investment in terms of securities, you must refer master circular on foreign investment 2009.
