Dear Anonymous, A judge is appointed on the basis of the knowledge of law. Not on other considerations. Hence whether a judge is a male or female, married or unmarried, divorcee or widower etc., does not have any bearing. It is only the legal points put forth before the judge by the parties and the law on the subject that will govern.

I agree with R. Ramchandran Sir. But judges also are human, they have also different nature and whims. If A married women would have suffered cruelty from her husband before appointing a judge, she may be biased. Therefore it can not be said that judges are always right. That's why the provision of transfer of cases have been provided in law.
Therefore if you smell that she is behaving in biased matter, you may apply for the transfer of case.

While a judge is supposed to deliver justice without fear and favour. But we come across many such cases where a judge gets biased.
