Finding the suit/court order for a given survey number in a village.

(Querist) 09 September 2016 This query is : Resolved

Hello Sir/Madam,

I would like to find out if any court case/suit/decree/any order given on a particular property in a village by using its survey number in Tamilnadu.

Can any of you guide me to know how to find out?

Or can we apply under RTI for the above need? and How?

Thank you for your valuable answers.

Generally if any suit is filed against any property, the same is filed in the court in whose jurisdiction such property situates and if any stay order against such property is obtained, the same is recorded in the record of local revenue officer incharge of that village so enquire from the office of local revenue officer and even obtain the certified copy therefrom which may contain entire information.

The opinion as given above is not exclusive rather is inclusive.
