Sir/ Madam,
Within a year how namy FIR can be filed on the same person ? Whether new FIR can be filed for the same section , or the old FIR can be amended?

ur query is vague, here is no limit in filing FIR, THIS DEPENDS upon how many times he commited crime in every committed crime there will be a FIR, suppose a criminal murders 5 persons at diferent places in a year there will be 5 FIR of IPC sec 302 and more acts which will be applicable as per case circumstances.

there is no limit. An fir is an information about comission of an offence first in the point of time. So an fir can be filed for each and every offance committed. But no second fir for any offance is maintainable.
