For the sake of lawyers

Learned seniors! One of our bar member found dead in suspecious condition. P M shows prima facie murder. Deceased was a political man also and incident also seems to be political. His wife after lodging fir approached to seek help of BAR. One member who is assisting his family in this matter also receiving threatening calls. Please suggest the ways to take initiative and precautions for the protection of BAR members. It has been prestige issue for lawyer community here. Waiting for valuable guidance.

Give a police complaint on these threats. Try to record the threats. use it as evidence. If you smell the person who is giving threat, inform it to the police seniors. If the police does not react, we the advocate community will react.

Apprise of the situation to the head of your Court and Chief justice of your State, with a copy to senior officers of Police.

Put this before Bar Association and let Bar Asson. make representation to the DSP for strict investigation and also in murder case.

Judge through the office-bearers of your local Bar Asscn. and if required , approach the highest Police authority of your district if local police throw cold water to your efforts.Be careful to preserve all possible
peice of evidence in consultation with a expert criminal lawyer of your state.
