Hello Experts and fighters,
I would be soon facing “Framing of charges” date in my 498A case. Could you please share your experience and things to be focus on , it would be of great help.
Do we have to be prepared for statements and other things on this date ?

It is mere formality.
You have to say only ' not guilty'.
No cross question would be asked.

Is there possibility of dropping some names by JMFC himself, from 498A trial as no case being made out against certain accused ? (498A chargesheet does not mention any thing about dowry, and also it does not mention anything about grievious hurt).

Hello Experts,
We signed not guilty form and handed over to JMFC. Next date bitter half was present before court and asked for mediation.
I think framing of charges has not happen yet. Can we deny to appear for mediation and ask JMFC to continue with framing of charges and continue trial ?
Does it not create advserse effect in judges mind against accused ?
Please suggest.
