Fraud by movers and packers

My parents who are senior citizens had hired gati express packers for household transportation from kolkata to delhi on 19/7/17.it has been 23 days we hav not received the consignment.the concerned person has been fooling us saying that the delay is due to the weather conditions. Please advise us what to do

Delay in delivery is not a fraud, but a deficiency in service. However, you can file a case in the consumer forum for deficiency of company's service.

Record all calls and transact in writing under proper acknowledgment.

Narrate all previous transactions by phone/in person/by email etc etc...............and also escalate to HO of the company.
