Fraud in property rental agreement

Dear all
Recently some of my friends came across an issue created by our broker.
We gave him an amount of 25000/- for the booking of flat, on the bases of an understanding that he was going to provide the flat to us with a washing machine.
But now at the time of giving the deposit amount he's denying us to provide the same and informs us that canceling the booking will rrsult in non refund of token money.
Now we are in a situation of fraud, also we have the original receipt of the token money.
Main query- How can we get our money back??

You have not mentioned, whether you have occupied the accommodation on rent and whether your rental agreement contains the clause of provision of washing machine included in that rental amount.
Even if this is your academic exercise, as a student, your question is not presented appropriately.
So, nobody can help you in the absence of discussion of basic necessary facts and sufficient ground if in your favour. Original receipt of Rs. 25000 is not a proof to help you to prove that the broker assured you to provide washing machine, if your rental agreement does not make any mention.
You may better consult some local lawyer by showing your agreement and receipt of Rs.25000/-.

I am afraid to point out that the querist has no where mentioned about the renting of flat rather she has mentioned about booking means purchase of flat, which perhaps has been missed while replying by my friends.
In the given facts, be practical. If you want to purchase the same flat then there is no use to make the issue of washing machine rather go ahead keeping in view the meagre cost of this machine compared to the cost of the flat.
If you intend to take your money back on some other reasons then you are at the mercy of broker.
