Gift deed execution in madhya pradesh; stamp duty

My father has two other brothers. They have a joint property in their name. A local authority did a joint venture with us on that property and gave us Shop-cum-Residential (SR Commercial type) plots. There are three plots and they are in names of all three brothers. In a mutual kind of arrangement, my father and uncles kept one plot each and gave a power to each other ( since power is in a blood relation so its a one time one).

Now, my father wants to gift that plot ( he has power from his brothers) to me. I'm his only son.

So, Does he gift that plot on the basis of power ? Or I have to get sign the deed from my uncles as well?

Can you please let me know what can be stamp duty and registration ( in percentage) for making gift deed of that plot from my father to me?

Your father can transfer the property by executing a registered gift deed in your favor only if the power of attorney deed in his name is by a registered document.
If the POA deed is an unregistered document, he may not be authorised to execute this act, moreover there has to be a mention particularly about this property in the deed and also the recital should confirm that the power agent can execute gift deed also through this power deed.
First confirm all these and then enquire about the applicable stamp duty and the registration charges from the local sub-registrar's office.

Thanks for replies. The POA is registered at sub registrar office. Will revisit their enquire about stamp duty on gift deed. If anyone knows what's the stamp duty and registration charge on gift deep in Madhya Pradesh would be great.
