A power of attorney (PoA) holder can sign any deed including a rectification deed, if the PoA is a valid one as per law.

Whether the holder is the donee or not is not at all a relevant issue.

Keshav (Querist) 19 September 2021
I have an issue with my gift deed , the allotment number mentioned in conveyance deed and gift deed is different..

In conveyance deed it's M** (*** )82/ GEN/ KA , and in gift deed its M** (*** )89/ GEN/ KA

Please suggest me , what should I do in this case ? It's considered to be minor mistake or major ?

What kind of PoA ( Notarised or Special ) is required to execute the rectification of gift deed ?

Can Beneficiary ( donee)- Second party ( legal heir of donor) perform this rectification ? When the donor is unable to walk at sub registrar office due to ill health
