If the Gift Deed is to be registered, does the Donee be present before the registrar and sign the documents.

author, as per insertion of section 32-A of registration Act, both the donor and donee or representative shall present before the registering authority.

Since the parties who are receipient in the gift deed are residing abroad, and would not be present for registration, I sought the remedy and procedure for registering the gift deed in their absence.

Should we take the power of attorney and proceed

please clarify
