Hello brothers wish you all a very happy New year. One of my client is detained at borstal school. He is now aged about 20 years. Police had foisted several cases against him and other co-accused. The other accused are above 21years . I had learned that police is planning to detain them under ACT XIV. Whether a person aged below 21years can be detained under goondas. Pl clarify. Give some related judgments.

The New Juvenile Justice Bill recognises juveniles between 16 to 18 and Permits them to be tried as adults for heinous offences.
