What norms in the appopintment order.

If your status is still of a temporary employee, you can serve resignation notice of 24 hours. But, if your appointment is made as a permanent employee, you will have to observe prescribed notice period for permanent employees for resigning from your present job.

You need not show bond of new department to the present employer. Rather that may possibly not only hinder in your relief, but also can attract disciplinary action against you, as without getting yourself relieved you would be contracting and joining for a new appointment.

Refer your appointment terms.

sir,
My appointment is made as permanent employee but,
As per appointment terms are concerned for present job:
*I will be for 2 year probation period there after absorption and Terms as applicable to other govt. employees under autonomous body's.

* I joined service in mid of April 2014 and submitted Intimation letter on 2nd of june.

* My Result of other job released on 25th of may but i had to receive medical examination letter by post there after bond related to training, they had informed that they will send this by mid of july.
*My training is suppose to start by first week of September.

So,My quarries are:

1.Does i had to resign from present job before medical examination or after medical examination?

2.should i go for Technical resignation or Formal Resignation?

3.Should i had to inform to my new organisation regarding my current job?

4.Dose i still need to under go notice period and resignation?

When you submit the resignation and what is the reaction from the head of the current office
nlnaikhome (Querist) 11 June 2014
sir,
I had not submitted the resignation, just given an intimation letter regarding the jobs i had applied for.
Sankaranarayanan (Expert) 11 June 2014
what is the reaction for your resignation letter
Guest (Expert) 11 June 2014
Today the question is of your resignation and joining of a new organisation, not about earlier intimation about application for new job.

Even the intimation was not timely, so privilege of your late intimation can be denied by the present employer on account of delay on your part, as non-intimation within 30 dys of joining job is treated as misconduct on the part of the employee. So, better avoid that point while submitting your resignation.

actually you have not contacted admin of either deptt. that is the reasons for so many questions.
Sudhir Kumar, Advocate (Expert) 11 June 2014
your questions

1.Does i had to resign from present job before medical examination or after medical examination?

Ans :If the new deptt is informed that you are in service then there will be no medical examination or police verification. They will seek this record from old deptt.

2.should i go for Technical resignation or Formal Resignation?

Ans : It will be technical resignation with continuation of benefits.

3.Should i had to inform to my new organisation regarding my current job?

Ans :do you have a choice?

4.Dose i still need to under go notice period and resignation?

Ans : No

In my opinion, since you have applied for the new job simultaneously and prior to getting this appointment, you do not have to follow the strict norms meant for the employees who have applied for the job while in the previous job, so better decide judiciously.
