Goverment give permission on pursuing degree after joining

can i pursue my full time mba degree after joining goverment job.I am in 1 year please let me know the solution

A government job holder is generally not prevented from pursuing his full time university course, if he does not need special consideration for being a student or the course does not clash with his job shedules..

Permission for full time degree course Not permissible to a Government employee. You can do only part time or distant education courses with due permission of the competent authority. Full time courses can be pursued only during study leave, when entitled to avail after prescribed qualifying service and other conditions of study leave.

You can't do full time course.

you can be given permission but

(i) the permission is in writing
(ii) that permission is subject to non-hinderance to duties
(iii) that permission is not guarantee of giving leave for attending classes.

such permission is necessary even for part time, evening classes and distance education/open university.

Study leave can be given

(i) only to permanent employee
(ii) if the course (in the opinion of deptt) will increase work potential of the employee in the post where he is appointed.

So you may have to take normal EL/EOL/HPL

(i) if permission is given in writing for continuation of study
(ii) if leave is allowed by deptt and
