Good morning sir/madam My son is living in the USA. He executed a power of attorney in 2014 in favor of his close relative to take care/manage his property owned by him in Andhra Pradesh state. Recently he came to know that his property was sold by the Gpa holder in the same year i. without his knowledge. The Gpa holder eighter he informed about the matter or handed over the sale consideration. Now, what is the legal he can take against the Gpa holder?
Without knowing/seeing the document it is difficult to advise. Visit a local advocate and show him gpa executed by your son and find out the possibility to challenge the transaction.

When GPA has given, the Agent whether he is a relative or a friend can sell/transfer the property with his choice. But he shall hand over the amount to the Principal. As the agent did not hand over the amount to your son ( the principal of the GPA), he can file a suit for recovery of money as per GPA. So consult a local advocate in AP if you are in AP or online.
