Grand son's right on grand father's self acquired property

Can a grandson claim right in his grandfather's self acquired property? How?
How can a son claim right in his father's self acquired property when his father intends to gift the whole property to his second son?

If the property is ancestral then the grand son can file suit for partition and injunction.

Q.Can a grandson claim right in his grandfather's self acquired property? How?

A.Only when they are from mitakshara school of Hindu law and grand son was born within life time of his grand father who died intestate.

Q.How can a son claim right in his father's self acquired property when his father intends to gift the whole property to his second son?

A.By creating same very situations the second son has created.
