The policy is from LIC.
Also I called to finance dept in my company, he told he sent it to lic.

Query is not clear. One side gratuity and the other LIC? What is the connection between these two?

your gratuity will release within a month to you , then you pay your LIC premium yourself.

It should have been released in a month. If not received send Registered AD letter.

If the payment of gratuity is linkwed with the group gratuity scheme of LIC of India, your gratuity should be released by the LIC.As you have resigned, the LIC may release the proportionate gratuity.

The employer should supply the notice of determination of Gratuity and make the payment within 30 days even if employee has not submitted any application, or the employee shall be eligible for interest @10% pa for the delayed period.
Employee can submit FormI. Hope you have submitted it.
The Gratuity fund is being managed by LIC.
The company has submitted the papers for release of Gratuity.
The LIC shall disburse the Gratuity.
You may demand the notice of determination of Gratuity, payment certificate issued by LIC…………………………..The employer can not keep even a penny from funds disbursed by LIC even if amount calculated as per formulae of calculation of Gratuity is lower than amount disbursed by LIC……………..

Thank you all for the reply.
My question was how much time LIC takes to send the amount. The time is imp for me.
I heard from a friend that LIC takes 2-3 months. Is this true?

Have to regular contact to LIC and inquire the concerned person. You may get the detail of the contact person from the Finance Department of your company. Ask about the payment from LIC

LIC won't like to be penalized. Hence if there is not shortcomings it should process and disburse claim promptly.
If you want you can follow up.

Enquire from the LIC office itself about the settlement of gratuity and approximate time. In my opinion, you should get your settlement within 15 days.

It is nderstood your case is covered under Group Gratuity scheme of LIC of India. Upon your resignation and filing of Gratuity claim after due examibnation your employer must have forwarded the claim to appropriate LIC office under copy to you. Now, if you have not received your copy, pl. be in touch with your previous employers to obtain the same and thereafter you can ascertain position of your claim from the concerned lIC office without enquiring here and there.
