Hi Experts,
I need your openion on following
I have recently purchased one flat in Group Housing Society. Society has transfered the share certificate on my name. Now before transferring the share cetificate on my name, society has passed one resolution that every new member who will be getting membership through transfer, will have to pay Rs. 100000/= non refundable for covered parking slot. Old members need not to pay that amount. My queries are
1) Is this legal as covered parking comes under common area and members either new or old have paid the contruction cost of common area also ?
2) Is there any binding on society during building plan approval that one covered area parking is necessary for all members ?

it appears to be discrimnatory as old members are not being charged for parking slot . complain to registrar

This amounts to forced donation from new member, over and above trf fees.
