gujarat - has the consumer forum powers of review?

'A' has filed consumer complaint against a bank because of not issueing no due certificate in time.

The matter was completed at forum.
Forum has passed the order of 10000/- rs for deficiency in service and harassment etc.

After the order of forum passed, bank comes to know that original account holder was 'B', not 'A'.

Now the querries are ; --
(1) consumer forum has powers for reviwe?
(2) is it possible to do, MISC. APPLICATION?
(3) any thing else suggestion?

No. consumer forum cannot review its own order. Misc., application also cannot be filed. Appeal lies to state forum.

You have to file appeal in State commission against that order of DCDRF. Consumer forum cannot review its own order.

You should immediately file an appeal before State Consumer Commission and seek stay order against the execution of order delievered by Forum at lower level and should peruse the appeal on the ground mentioned by you.
