Dear sir,
In case a trust has not got registered itself though it has deducted WCT of substantial amount moreover has not deposited with the government yet since last 2 years. what kind of remedy is available in such matters.

As per Article 226 of the Constitution of India, one should not collect the tax without authority of law, like wise you have collected the WCT without having registration with Sales Tax Authorities, first you obtain the registration under the provisions of the Sales Tax/VAT laws, before that better your consult local tax advocate or tax lawyer to resolve your issue.

Dear Mr.Ajay,
You have a practical problem on hand and not a legal problem.
You cannot get the problem solved by discussing here as one has to understand as to what exactly you did, and from whom you deducted, what sort of work you got done from the contractor, extent of wct deducted etc. etc.
Therefore, you will be well advised to contact a local tax lawyer.
(By the way what Mr. Sanjeeva Rao said was referable to Art. 265 of the Constitution and not 226. I take it that it was a typo by him.)
