My passport was issued on 15-09-2008, but the problem was Date Of birth, place of birth was wrong at that time am applying. now am taken my birth certificate.
so i can apply for re-issue the passport with correct details with the birth certificate or it can be change in my educational certificate then only i can change my passport ???.
kindly suggest.

You can apply for correction of the DOB now with the birth certificate, however, you will be penalized an amount of Rs.2000.

Yes the wrong information can be corrected. There is no need to apply for passport afresh.

Pay cost/Penalty & apply for correction with relevant documents . No need to apply again.
