Sir Myself Pintu Rai, i am law graduate. sir by mistake I was convicted under Indian Railway Act 1989 under section 143 of blackmailing of ticket ..? So My question is.. Can I obtain bar council certificate and practice under court.... ??? Kindly help me sir... Due to this case my life seems to be fade up... kindly sir help me... please.

I(f you are convicted you file an appeal since you say there was nomistake on your part and police mistakenly booked you under 143 of Railway Act. Any way this is a petty crime. I don't think this will come in the way of your practicing as a lawyer in some state. Check the website of BCI or BC of your State if Black Marketing tickets is not listed as offense you are out of the danger zone.

Ms.Usha Kapoor Ma�am.... The case has been disposed and i was convicted under section 143 of Indian railway Act 1989.
I have mistakenly booked or not it doesn�t matter Now. Maam please guide me to be a good person. Please tell me with correct knowledge that I can get enrolled or not in BCI or BC of state?

You were selling tickets in Black Marketing in Railways and booked under section 143 and convicted also and got punished and turned good gentle man also. . and In view of this whether you are eligible to enroll and practice law or not? Check with State Bar council or Try RTI Route to find Out about the eligibility..Did you finish LL.B?

The facts stated are less than convincing! Admittedly, the indiscretion happened almost thirty years ago. How come you are Law Graduate now only.
