help regarding gift deed

(Querist) 16 March 2010 This query is : Resolved
Hello All,

My grand father registered a gift deed to my father which is my grand father self earned land , my grand father has more sons and daughters any how he gave other land to them which is inherited from my great grand father.
My question is, is this a valid registration, i mean now every one is saying that it required other sons and daughters to be signed is that right?

please help me as we are facing many problems as we already sold this to others as it was registered.

Thanks in advance
Regards,
Farooq.

No, it is not at all necessary that the said gift deed is to be signed by other sons and daughters.the property was self earned by your father so he was not required to get anybody's consent before giving it to someone as gift.

no as i said it is self earned by my grandfather not my father and it has been registered to my father and now my grandfather is died.
