Hindu marriage act amendment

any update related to:-

the issue of allowing courts to decide on doing away with the mandatory six-month waiting period for couples seeking divorce to move a joint petition by mutual consent. as it would help speed up divorce procedures.

Suppose some one want to take divorce within 6 month of marriage then ? or they have to wait for the same. for 18 months

mandatory 6 months cooling period stays .objective being to save marriages and try for reconcilation

after marriage there was one condition of that cant file petition for divorce for at least one year ? what abt that sir ?

The condition exist till date.

19 months total period is mandatory. It means no divorce petition can be filed prior to one year of marriage and MCD takes at lest 6 months period.
