1. If the police is not making any effort in the matter of your complaint then you can/must file a private complaint before the Judicial Magistrate.

2. You need to take assistance of a local advocate who can file such private criminal complaint.

The Police Can Not refuse to File FIR.First Meet the Senior Police Officials regarding the Same. For Insurance Claims up to Rs.20000/- FIR is Not Required.Since it is more than 3 Months you should act Fast

Please do not go by the advice of this person.
He has given false profile. He has hardly two year standing in the profession, though he makes tall claims in his profile, which are completely false.
Many of his advices are not in accordance with law.
Therefore beware.
Wait for some advice from other experts in this LCI.

If police does not register FIR , you can go to Magistrate and apply for such direction on Police u/s 156(3) crpc.

Consult a Local Good Advocate FIR would be Enough For Insurance Claims.

YES, YOU NECESSARILY HAVE TO CONSULT A GOOD LAWYER, AS THIS FELLOW IS NOT AT ALL GOOD. HAS GIVEN AN UTTERLY FALSE PROFILE.

Anonymous to be Ignored Anonymous could Hit and Run Easily as no body knows about them.If such people are Mentally Retarded it would be Still Worse.

FELLOW WITH FALSE PROFILE CANNOT BE TRUSTED BY ANYONE.
THE FELLOW WHOM HE DESCRIBES AS "ANONYMOUS" BECAUSE NO PROFILE HAS BEEN FILED SAYS CAN HIT AND RUN.

I AM ALWAYS HERE AND EFFECTIVELY GIVING FITTING REPLY TO THIS USELESS FELLOW.

THE QUESTION OF RUNNING AWAY IS NOT KNOWN TO ME.

I AM HAPPY NOT GIVING ANY PROFILE, MY ANSWERS SPEAK FOR MYSELF, UNLIKE THIS FELLOW WHO HAS SHAMELESSLY POSTED A FALSE PROFILE TO DUPE EVERYBODY AS THOUGH WHAT HE PROVIDES IS THE ANSWER.

Consult local lawyer and show him the papers.
