I got divorce on july 18 by MCD, but now my inlaws filed a criminal suit against me for MCD that I have cheated my wife and got divorce, they also charged sec 498 against my sister, sister-in-law and my parents.
they also mentioned that in affidavit that at the time of hearing my sister blackmail her if she's not ready to getting divorce than she will be murdered of my kids.

They can file end number of cases. However you have to fight out 498A case filed after divorce. Nothing will come out from that case after divorce.

AFTER 12 YEARS OF MARRIAGE LIFE WE TOOK THE DECISION TO GET DIVORCED AND AFTER THAT THEY SUBMITTED 498. IN THAT CASE IS THERE ANY CONSEQUENCES IN MY CASE? WHETHER ITS HARMFUL TO MY FAMILY?

The facts stated by you raise few basic questions such as what is the role of filing complaint u/s 498 A IPC ?
What is the locus standie of in-laws to file a complaint u/s 498 A IPC?
How any case is maintainable after passing decree in a suit of mutual consent divorce ?
What is the alleged role of your sister ?
Unbelievable???
What is the opinion and advise of your lawyer who have successfully managed the decree of MCD?
Why do you need a second opinion, advise and obligation of experts on this platform on the basis of limited and fabricated facts, except that it is available FREE OF COST?

Sir,
My lawyer told me the case is not justifiable as they mentioned false allegation after MCD and after 1 year, they charged so many sections, they mentioned that my sister and her husband black mail to my wife for MCD and if she was not agree than they killed my kids and than after my wife agree for MCD (this type of false allegation) mentioned in criminal complaint.
My lawyer told me my wife sign in MCD and all affidavit she's not minor hence all the cases are fraud which they have charged and we have to fight the same
