How much stamp duty to be paid ?

Dear Sir,

A commission agent wants to enter into an agreement with a Company. This Agent will provide advisory services for getting a suitable buyer of goods to the Company. In return he will get a percentage commission based on the quantum of goods purchased by the Company from the source provided by him.

My querry is how much stamp duty should be paid on this document / agreement in Maharashtra ?

check with the stamp office . you can sub,it document for adjudication for determination of correct stamp duty

It goes in accordance with the state stamp act. Refer your state's stamp act.

It is only a Commission and Business Agreement 100 Rs Stamp Paper will be Sufficient and Extra Pages Could be in Green Sheets.Two Sets would be required.Two witnesses and Notary Public Attestation would be Sufficient.If at all you want you could Register the same in Registrar Office with the Help of Document writers there which would not Cost you more than Rs.1000/- if Drafting and Typing is Done by your self or the Registrar Office Document writer would Charge Extra or if you afford you could get the help of Local Good Advocate.You could consult good Document writers in Fort Registrar Office Please.
